Looking to get into Cyber Security? This is the way to go!

 Whether you're looking to get into Penetration Testing into being a Security Analyst, Blue Team or Red Team, we all need to start somewhere. It can be very difficult to figure out exactly how to start in a field as complex and ever-changing as Cyber Security, so I'm here to offer you some tips!

Recently TryHackMe released their new "Pre Security" path (found here), which introduces you to all the basics that you are required to get a grasp of before you take the big leap into CybSec. It covers everything you'll need to start, ranging from the Network Fundamentals, to How The Web Works, all whilst staying very beginner friendly and asking you questions as the path goes along to ensure you are taking in the information. It also helps you learn the basics of two of the most commonly used operating systems in the world: Windows and Linux. This will be very useful no matter where you want to take your career, and even help you outside of CybSec with everything being online.
